Melissa Berglas, Director
Melissa
has over 20 years experience developing comprehensive and cost
effective insurance programs. She has a broad background
servicing diverse industries including
food, agribusiness, manufacturing, technology and aged care.
Melissa carefully structures each insurance proposal so as to minimize
premiums. She then uses her strong relationships with many
insurance companies to provide great cover at minimal cost.
It is important to ensure that there are no
unexpected exclusions should a claim be made. Melissa takes the
time
to
understand each business and develop an insurance program that aligns
with their existing business and future plans.
Melissa and her family are based on the Sunshine Coast hinterland and
treats
your
business like her own. She is also your strong advocate in the
event of a claim, 24
hours a day, 7 days a week. You will not be left alone.
Melissa has worked internationally in the San Francisco Bay Area with
companies ranging from small startups to billion dollar
corporations.
This multinational insurance experience is useful for
Australian businesses looking to expand or increase trade overseas and
deal with foreign insurance requirements and legislation.
Melissa
holds a
CIP (senior associate) qualification with the
Australian and New Zealand Insurance Institute. This is more
advanced than the basic tier 1 qualification that most insurance
brokers hold. She also undertakes regular continuing education to
maintain up to date industry
knowledge on product offerings, insurance policies and insurance law
changes. (She was also fully qualified in California.)
Melissa services regions from Caloundra, Nambour and Maroochydore to
Gympie and Bundaberg. You will often see Melissa supporting local
businesses in the hinterland.
